Deep Dive into Vestal

Here is the full process in creating the skincare line- Vestal

  • I found out that most people have around 3-5 steps in their routine. This is how I was determining how many products were going to be in my line.

  • After figuring I wanted around 6 products I needed to figure out what these products would be. The top products in most people's routines were; Face Wash, Moisturizer, Exfoliator, Retinol, and Eye Cream.

  • I asked this question to see the top brands to see what they do well and what they do not.

  • This was to get a better understanding of my target audience’s mind and what brings them to pick the item of the shelf or add to cart

User-Testing

I interviewed three different people ranging from gender, skin types, all around the age of 21. Here were some of my key takeaways

  • I ended up finding some broken links and finding out I need better headers on the products page

  • have the quick add being the button to add to cart or show product since that is what majority of people clicked on instead of the image.

  • My navigation pages were not up to par design-wise compared to the other layouts.
