The College of Art and Design Website needed a complete redesign with all the updated logos but also showing off our programs better. As a group of five people, we dissected the website on what worked and what did not. The goal was to find new ways to incorporate social media and display large amounts of text in the most effective ways.

01. Image to Text Ratio

For this project I was chosen to be creative director, to oversee the other group members and keep open communication with the client. I started by researching competitive schools like Ball State and IUPUI to see how they display the same information.

We also discussed these top pain points and how we were going to fix them:

We wanted to show more photos of our facilities and less large chunks of text.

02. Better Navigation

Originally it was a drop-down menu system and I created a tab system that we used constantly throughout the different pages. This was also a great way to show off the professors and students artwork
